Working collaboratively with the NH Division of Travel & Tourism Development and with other statewide partners, the Travel Council produces the Governor’s Conference on Travel & Tourism held each spring.

The program will include:

The breakout sessions are informative, useful and give you practical ideas you can implement right away.  The Marketplace puts you in touch with resources to help you develop your marketing strategies – from web developers and media representatives to printing companies and trainers…. all under one roof!

The 36th Annual Governor's Conference on Tourism was held April 11 - 13 at the Radisson Hotel Downtown in Manchester. Thanks to our sponsors, vendors, and everyone who attended to make this a great event.

The Department of Travel and Tourism Development unveiled their new logo (pictured left) and marketing campaign, presentations were made by Governor Lynch and Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Cheryl Hargrove delivered the keynote address, and recipients of the NH Travel Council Awards were announced.

Attendees were invited to tour the city, visit the Aviation Museum of NH, dine out at one of many restaurants offering special Eats Week menu options, and attend a performance of Chicago at The Palace Theatre. A variety of educational sessions were offered, many were at the Currier Museum of Art.

Special thanks was given to everyone for their efforts to overcome the damaging visit by Tropical Storm Irene and a winter with below average snowfall to make this past year a successful one for tourism.
